First Forest Schools session is a rip-roaring success

We have started Forest Schools linked to Family Groups and the first session has certainly proved a rip-roaring success, with pupils working so well in teams to explore the woodlands at The Ness.
Pupils took part in setting up boundaries, treasure hunts linked to the colours in the woods, shelter building and bug hunting among other activities driven by the space and by them. Once a week, one family group will visit the site, meaning all pupils will take part once per half term.
Our thanks go to the parent helpers, Mark, Ruth, Sam and Sally-Ann. Please do let us know if you would like to help, or just to come along and have a wonderful time learning in the open air in a natural environment. You are certain to enjoy it almost as much as the children!
