Key Stage 1 pupils go on a Bear Hunt!

The children in KS1 had a very exciting end to their learning journey - going on a bear hunt!

It started with the children in Year 1 and 2 making a map of the school. They used symbols and a key to make their map more interesting! The Year 2's then made some binoculars and decorated these for the Reception children.

We then got to the final bear hunt! The Year 1 and 2 children had a fantastic time hiding the bears for the Reception children. They found some brilliant hiding places!

The Reception children then joined their teams of a Year 1 child and a Year 2 child to find their bears. They asked lots of questions to give them lots of clues! Of course, after lots of hunting, the children were ready for a delicious treat at our teddy bear's picnic!

What a fantastic and successful afternoon it was!
