This week, Year six have been working with Kip Pratt to master the violin in just ten short weeks.
Just this week, they have learned three tunes whilst learning how to hold and play these wonderful instruments. They are already stringing together some recognisable notes and managing to sound almost orchestral, which bodes well for their final performance due in about eight weeks time.
Kip is scoring pupils on their hold on the bow. Scores at this stage range from seven to nine out of ten for Joe, but he was pipped at the last hurdle by Sam, who scored nine and a half.
We wait with baited breath to see whether Kip and the kids can transform from novices to virtuosos in the coming weeks.
