Photographing seasonal changes at the Botanical Gardens

Taking up where last year's class left off, Year 6 have been taking photographs of the seasonal changes in the Homeyards Botanical Gardens.

Armed with cameras, the class set off for an afternoon in the sun, capturing the changes that have been taking place there and capturing the plants that grown there on film.

Next week, they will be learning how to crop and edit the pictures in order to frame them to a professional standard. Working with professional photographer, Colin Lizzius, the children will learn all about editing and cataloging the pictures so that they will become part of a wider project in the community.
