Teignmouth Port Trip

Just before half term, Year 5 took a trip to the Port of Teignmouth to learn about imports and exports as part of their learning journey.

The children saw some of the ball clay that they have been learning about and lots of other products that are imported and exported.

Lex won the 'guess the weight of the class' competition. Class five weighed more than everyone thought - 1.1 tonnes!

Richard Frewin and Alex Chinchen kindly showed everyone around and gave everyone a goody bag with high-vis jackets and a puzzle. A big thank you goes to them for hosting us so well.
