Year 4 visit Dawlish Warren

On a cold, blustery morning, Year 4 ventured out to Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve to gather evidence for their learning journey on how humans impact on the natural world.

Working with Stephen (one of the Rangers),  we looked at both positive and  negative examples of activity on the Warren,  and how the Nature Reserve is trying to preserve the environment for the benefit of future generations.

The children will now use what they have found to form a more detailed investigation on waste and recycling in the local environment.
