Year Six were privileged enough to spend Monday sailing around Torquay Harbour and out to the open seas to help them find their sea-legs before setting sail on the tall ships in June.
The Disabled Sailing Association were happy to show children the ropes, kitting them out with life jackets and instructions for how to sail the yacht. Once more we were lucky with the weather, basking in sunshine on the harbour as we watched two groups of five at a time head out to sea where they raised the sails and enjoyed the wonderful views back to the harbour.
Sadie-May and Bea will be back at the harbour this weekend when they participate in some sailing races this weekend.
