Teaching and learning is my passion. I truly believe it is important to develop children who are not only academically successful but above all, have a love of lifelong learning.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Geography in 2011 followed by my PGCE in 2012 - both qualifications completed at The University of Manchester. My first teaching post was in year 6 and I subsequently completed 9 further years as a year 6 teacher, leading in various subjects including Maths, PE and Computing. During this time I moved from Manchester to Devon and joined ACE, where I moved into senior leadership and Headship.

Outside of school, I enjoy walking and exploring in the beautiful Devon countryside with my husband and daughter. Whether it be eating out or spending the day down at the beach, I love making memories with my family and friends.

I am thrilled to be embarking upon the next chapter of my teaching career at Shaldon Primary School. I believe it is the community that makes a school and I am excited to be part of that community in Shaldon.
