I am absolutely delighted to be joining the amazing team at Shaldon Primary School in September and I am really looking forward to continuing my own learning journey with the Year 5 children. I have recently completed my PGCE with Bath Spa University and gained my QTS status from Exeter Consortium and I am so excited to start my teaching journey here at Shaldon. Prior to this, I obtained a First Class honours degree from The University of the West of England in Art and Design in 2019 before moving on to work as a 1:1 SEND teaching assistant in 2020. Much like the children at Shaldon Primary, I strive for excellence in everything I do. My passion for working with children continues to grow each day. I encourage them to dream big and achieve their absolute best every day. I come to school ready to dedicate all my time to helping children to become the best person they can be: to be confident, compassionate and determined. Outside of school, I love to paint, draw, sculpt and exhibit my artwork in the local area. I also enjoy horse riding, reading, travelling the world, and long walks on the beach with my amazing dog, Mollie.
