On Monday 26th November, 12 members of our school choir participated in a massed Teachers Rock Youth Choir, with children from satellite choirs from all over Devon and Somerset. In total, 250 children and 100 adult educators sang to a sell-out audience of over 700 people, in Exeter Cathedral. The massed choirs lifted the rafters in the beautiful setting, singing rock and gospel songs, accompanied by their patron Reverend Bazil Meade MBE.
Teachers Rock aspires to provide young people a unique opportunity to interact with their teaching staff in a positive, collaborative and liberating environment. It was certainly an inspirational and entertaining evening of excellent music and singing.
