Science at Shaldon

Our science curriculum is the vehicle in which we can enhance children’s curiosity and awe and wonder.  We want our children to be courageous advocates of change and understand that science knowledge and understanding is one of the driving forces for this.​

We want our children to become scientists and to engage in ‘big questions’ in order to enrich their understanding of themselves and the world around them. Through tailored learning experiences, children will be given opportunities to develop their science knowledge and skills in biology, chemistry and physics.
