About Us

We would like to welcome you and your family to Shaldon Nursery. We believe that the children and adults flourish in a happy, caring and well-structured environment. Parents are their child’s first educators and we aim to create a partnership with you and your child and nurture and support that partnership during your time with us.

 

Our nursery is part of the Academy for Character and Excellence and therefore we are committed to achieving excellence, being innovative, sharing our talents and always striving to be the best version of ourselves.

 

In addition, the core values of our Nursery- friendship, confidence, partnership, trust, keeping safe and having fun underpin the ethos within the Academy.

 

We offer a high quality education to children from the local area from the ages of 6 months to 5 years.

We are located in a purpose built new nursery building on the grounds of Shaldon Primary School, with our own Nursery entrance along Bridge Road.  We offer term time only and all year round care, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm.

Our staff are vastly experienced in child care and early years education and are committed to ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. We look forward to welcoming your family to our nursery.
