Today we welcomed into School, David Hill, a Paralympic Athlete who has represented Team GB in Swimming and Triathlon.
Children from across the whole school had lots of fun completing a fitness circuit in the morning then they were treated to a highly inspirational talk by David who told them of his journey from gaining his 5m swimming badge at age 3 to representing his country.
The children asked some really excellent questions and were extremely interested to find out more about how David felt about his disability and his philosophy on life and learning. The key message was to keep trying and you will succeed.
