School Closures Advice
Dear Parents and Carers,
Wednesday 18th March: Coronavirus – School Closures Advice
Following the government’s advice today regarding school closures, I am writing to confirm that we are closing our school to most children at the end of the day on Friday 20th March.
In line with government guidelines, we will remain open for those who are vulnerable and also for children of key workers in the following sectors:
If you work in these sectors and would like your child to attend school from Monday 23rd March, please could you email our school office at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please could you scan and send us a form of ID, such as a staff ID card or letter from
We would be very grateful if you could confirm your request to us by the end of the day on Thursday 19th March, so that we can make plans regarding staffing and any other contingency arrangements.
Please note that if you or anyone in your family is in self-isolation, the current guidelines remain in place. Should your child present with either a cough or a high temperature whilst in school, we would still be required to send them home.
For children who will be at home during this period of closure, we will provide learning resources through our school website. We would recommend you regularly visit your child’s class pages as further updates will be posted online. Our school office will remain open and can be contacted on 01626 873329.
Many thanks for your support and understanding.
