Years 3/4 Viking Trip

Years 3 and 4 visited Dorset where they spent time in a full size longhouse and a large Saxon roundhouse. They wove willow strips to make hurdles, tried on Viking armour, practised archery and played traditional games. They also ground their own grain to make flour, kneaded this together and made their own bread which was cooked on an open fire.
