Two teams of very excited Year 5 & 6 pupils took part in a mini Tag Rugby tournament at Starcross Primary School and had a great afternoon of sport. The event was organised by Phil Milsom our SSCO and pupils from TCS gave skills coaching to small groups before the matches. There was a real mixture of experience amongst the children so the emphasis was on giving it a go rather than full on competition. We played each team twice and the Starcross teams had some very able individuals but Shaldon shone with some great passages of exciting attacking play and excellent teamwork in defence.
